Students, faculty and staff can register up to two phone numbers
and two e-mail addresses.
Students can include a parent phone number and/or e-mail address
in their lists.
The EagleAlert database is completely separate from your Reinhardt account.
Once your registration is validated, make a note of your EagleAlert password and username.
Reinhardt University's Emergency Alert System
EagleAlert is an opt-in instant, mass notification system powered by Omnilert Network e2Campus.
EagleAlert provides instant alerts and updates regarding emergencies, severe weather and school closings. Through EagleAlert, students, parents, faculty and staff can receive time-sensitive alerts and updates via
- cell phones, personal data assistants (PDAs),
- and e-mail.
This service is part of the University's broader strategy to provide timely and accurate information during an emergency. EagleAlert is an excellent system that can notify the entire University community within minutes, but it only works if YOU register your information in the system.
Voluntary text messaging
Receiving EagleAlert text messages and e-mails is voluntary. You must provide your contact information to EagleAlert in order to receive these critical messages. We strongly recommend that you opt-in, but due to the cost structure of many cell phone/PDA plans, we can not require it. You may choose to opt-in or opt-out of the service at any time.
If you do not want to receive text messages but would still like to receive the e-mail alerts, use the Registration for Email Only when you register.
Reinhardt University e-mail address ARE NO LONGER imported into the EagleAlert system. If you would like emergency information to go to your Reinhardt e-mail and/or additional e-mail account(s), you must register that information with EagleAlert. You may choose to opt-in or opt-out of the e-mail component of this service at any time. Those who receive EagleAlert messages are responsible for any messaging charges from his or her wireless service provider. Reinhardt University is not responsible for any such charges.
If you would like to receive Reinhardt EagleAlert messages, have your student include your contact number as part of his or her two cell phone numbers and two e-mail addresses. Parents should not register themselves; their students can do so.
Only emergency notices will be distributed using this system. No advertisements or non-emergency alerts will be issued using EagleAlert. Contact information provided to EagleAlert will not be shared with or sold to third parties.
Once you have registered and validated your information, you will stay in the EagleAlert system until the expiration date you have specified. Please make a note of your password and user name so you can easily manage your account.
