Reinhardt Outdoors

cavingCaving

Walking in underground passage ways, crawl ways, mud rooms, waterfalls, streams, formations. When you visit the land down under you will probably run into all of these and more with the REINHARDT OUTDOORS cavers. We offer a wide variety of caving experiences geared for beginners as well as the intermediate spelunker. For a first-time experience or a more sophisticated trip involving vertical skills, REINHARDT OUTDOORS guarantees you a most fascinating experience underground.  Caving basics, safety, and conservation will be stressed. REINHARDT OUTDOORS provides guides and transportation. Participants are responsible for their own personal caving gear.

hikingHiking

REINHARDT OUTDOORS' hiking program features a wide variety of trips ranging from scenic, relaxing weekend destinations to challenging trails and mountains. The backpacking schedule may include trips to areas such as South Cumberland State Park, Chattachoochee National Forest, and the Appalachian Trail. These trips offer some of the most scenic views in the country to attract participants of all skill levels. REINHARDT OUTDOORS provides guides and transportation. Participants are responsible for their own personal hiking gear.  For a short hike close to home, try one of our Reinhardt College Campus Trails.

mountain bikingMountain Biking

REINHARDT OUTDOORS’ mountain biking program allows riders of all experience levels to enjoy a day of outdoor exercise riding down mountain trails and through the Georgia countryside. Rides consist of approximately two hours and will include information on proper techniques, care, and safety. Trip costs include round-trip transportation and all related equipment rentals.  Closer to home are the Reinhardt College Campus Mountain Biking Trails.

horseHorseback Riding

Horseback riding trips offer participants an excellent opportunity to see some of the scenic Georgia countryside while learning and practicing basic equestrian skills. Rides consist of approximately two hour rides in the Georgia mountains. Rides also include information on proper tacking techniques, horse care, and riding safety. Trip costs include round-trip transportation, all related equipment, and experienced guides.

canoeingCanoeing/Rafting

Imagine yourself screaming down Double Trouble Rapid on the wild Ocoee river, learning canoeing skills down the exciting Nantahala River, or tubing through waters of the Hiawassee River. REINHARDT OUTDOORS' canoeing and rafting trips take you to a variety of locations throughout Georgia and Tennessee.
