As part of the activities of The Year of
Africa, students are invited to again participate
in a Student Paper Competition. The following prizes will
be awarded:

1st place: $100

2nd place: $75
-
3rd place: $50.
Papers must be conformed to the following
guidelines:
Topic: Africa
Perspective:

From any point of view

Open to any area, discipline or field
(e.g., religion, sociology, literature, politics, health,
economics, psychology, anthropology, etc.)
Nature:

Research paper (foonotes or endnotes
and short bibliography)

Original and creative
-
Faithful and relevant to African social
reality

Applicable to our society
-
Reflecting critical thinking
Format:
-
• 600 - 700 words

• Word Attachment

• Times New Roman (12 character font)

• Clear, concrete, organized, and well
written
The best papers will be published in
Perspectivas: Insights for a Better Society.
