Summer Programs

Reinhardt University offers a variety of day camps and overnight camps as well as conferences and workshops over the summer. Some camps and conferences are produced by Reinhardt University and other external camps choose Reinhardt as their preferred host location. Either way, Reinhardt’s Camp & Conference staff is happy to work alongside coaches and camp directors alike, helping them coordinate all logistical needs for a successful camp and conference.

We invite you to host your summer camp or conference at Reinhardt University. Our campus facilities provide an excellent location for students and attendees to learn and have fun.

Summer Programs Policies and Procedures

Facilities

Reinhardt has a variety of spaces available for reservation including multipurpose, classroom, recreation, and athletic spaces. Facilities can vary in style and setup, to support a wide range of needs that will accommodate seminars, banquets, professional conferences, youth groups, and athletic camps.

Lodging

Reinhardt University offers diverse lodging options for conference guests and campers. Options include suites and apartments. Each facility features secured access, heat and air conditioning, high-speed wireless internet, vending machines, laundry, and parking facilities.

Dining and Catering

We realize that the dining experience plays a major role in the focus and attention of your conferees and campers. Our Gordy Dining Center offers all-you-can-eat savory meals with lots of options—too many to list. Our friendly and very responsive food service team takes delight in handling special dietary requests.

2023 Summer Camps and Conferences

Fellowship of Christian Athletes – Captains Camp

May 30 - June 2, 2023

This FCA camp is where team leaders are forged physically, mentally, and spiritually. Coaches nominate their captains and team leaders for this “Boot Camp” style camp.

Reinhardt Piano Festival and Academy

June 5 - June 11, 2023

Piano lessons with faculty. Performance opportunities. Masterclass opportunities. Daily classes on a variety of topics such as sight-reading and improvisation. Free attendance to 6 virtuoso piano concerts by internationally acclaimed concert pianists. The Festival Division is for high school students who are intermediate or advanced-level pianists. The Academy Division is for high school students with advanced to highly advanced level piano skills. Overnight or commuter options.

Reinhardt Athletics - Sports and Adventure Camp

June 5 - June 9, 2023

Reinhardt University Athletics is hosting the first-ever Adventure and Sports Camp for K-8th grade. Camp activities include basketball, flag football, softball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, kickball, disc golf. speed and agility training and Olympic Field Day.

School of Performing Arts - Music Theater Camp, Session 1

June 5 - June 10, 2023

FREE summer music theater experience for rising 3rd-5th graders to perform Seussical Kids.

Reinhardt DNA Barcoding

June 6-8, 13-15, 2023

A 6-day summer STEM experience. Experience the process of science in this project-based camp. Learn about DNA barcoding and the DNA barcoding initiative to identify living things. DNA barcoding projects allow students to link molecular genetics to ecology and evolution, with the potential to contribute to new scientific knowledge about biodiversity, conservation biology, and human effects on the environment. This camp is a 6-day immersive, project-based camp for rising 9th-12th grade students.
