Admission into the Reinhardt University MBA Program

Admission Requirements

  1. A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum 2.75 grade-point average (GPA) or greater than 3.0 GPA in the last 60 credits.
  2. GMAT score of 500 or higher or an existing GRE score in the upper 50th percentile. (More on GMAT* below).  You might be eligible for a GRE/GMAT Waiver.
  3. Personal interview with MBA Program Coordinator.

Graduate Applicant Checklist:

  • Complete and submit the Online Application for Admission or contact the Office of Graduate Admissions for a paper application.
  • Submit a resume or one-page summary of all work experience.
  • Submit a 300-word essay on how obtaining a Reinhardt MBA will enhance your career goals.
  • Take the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)* and have scores sent to the Reinhardt address below. Information about the GMAT can be found at  You might be eligible for a GRE/GMAT Waiver.
  • Forward the reference forms to three professional/educational references. Ask your references to return the forms to Reinhardt in a timely manner to expedite processing.
  • Contact all postsecondary schools (colleges, universities and technical schools) you attended, whether you earned credit or not, and have each send Reinhardt an official transcript. If your transcripts could be under a different last name or maiden name, please note on the appropriate line on the application.

Foundational Requirements:

To be unconditionally admitted into the MBA program, you must be able to demonstrate a basic level of knowledge and achievement in the areas of managerial accounting, principles of marketing, principles of management, macroeconomic principles, business law I, corporate financial management and elementary statistics.

Such knowledge and achievement can be demonstrated through successful completion (grade C or higher) of undergraduate courses in these areas, and/or successful completion of CLEP and CLEP-like testing. The MBA Admissions Committee may consider an appeal for these requirements based on relevant work or professional experiences.
