Chika Unigwe
Chika Unigwe is an award-winning writer of fiction and nonfiction. Widely anthologized, her novels include On Black Sisters Street (translated into several languages including French, Hebrew and German) and Night Dancer. Her short story collection, Better Never Than Late was published in 2020. Her short stories have appeared in Wasafiri, Agni, Kenyon Review, Lit Hub and in many other literary journals in both Europe and the US. She has had essays published in Aeon, The New York Times, Guernica, the UK Guardian, amongst others. Her new novel will be published in 2023. Unigwe teaches writing at Georgia College, Milledgeville.
