Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Faculty

Joy Farmer
Joy A. Farmer is a graduate of Agnes Scott College and the University of Virginia. She is a professor of English at Reinhardt University, where she coordinates the English program. She has published articles on Larry Brown and William Faulkner, C.S. Lewis and J.K. Rowling, Oedipus the King and the film Angel Heart, Mary Hood, and Flannery O'Connor, as well as a chapbook of poetry and a paper on composition strategies in the writing center. Her article on Nathaniel Hawthorne and Harper Lee will appear in the current issue of The James Dickey Review. She lives in Kennesaw, Georgia, with her family of show dogs.
