Kelly Whiddon

Kelly Whiddon's book The House Began to Pitch was honored in 2012 with the Adrienne Bond Poetry Award. She has published in Crab Orchard Review, Meridian, Poetry International, The Spoon River Poetry Review, South Dakota Review, andSlipstream, among others, as well as the anthologies Writing on Napkins at the Sunshine ClubThe Southern Poetry Anthology: Volume V: Georgia, from The Texas Review Press; and Inspired Georgia, recently out from the University of Georgia Press.She received her Ph.D. in English from Florida State University in 2002. A former president of the Georgia Writer’s Association, she teaches creative writing at Middle Georgia State University.
