Tina Barr's most recent book is Green Target, winner of the Barrow Street Press Book Prize, judged by Patricia Spears Jones, as well as the Brockman-Campbell Award, judged by Michael Waters, from the NC Poetry Society, for the best book of poems published by a North Carolina poet in 2018. Her other books include Kaleidoscope (Iris Press), The Gathering Eye (Tupelo Press Editor’s Prize), and three chapbooks, all winners of chapbook contests. Her fellowships include the National Endowment for the Arts, Tennessee Arts Commission, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and MacDowell Colony.  She teaches in the Great Smokies Creative Writing Program at University of North Carolina at Asheville.
