You Will Be the nurse they look up to.

You became a nurse to help others. From colleagues who depend on you to patients who trust you, being there for others is what drives you. It’s up to you to be the most caring and qualified nurse you can be. The RN to BSN program at Reinhardt will prepare you to better care for patients, and help you prepare yourself for opportunities beyond the bedside. And, this program will open new doors for you to serve others in new ways, from educating others to conducting clinical research to shaping treatment practices in places you will serve. Simply put, this degree will empower you to answer the call in any way you choose.

You’re a step away from being a step above.

Focused, customized curriculum

Reinhardt’s BSN curriculum covers areas of knowledge you didn’t get with your RN diploma or ASN degree, but it builds on those core principles to help you develop a deeper, more holistic understanding of patient care.

Practical training at any medical institution

Reinhardt’s RN to BSN program includes clinical practicums at approval medical institutions of your choice. With assistance from Reinhardt faculty, you’ll get the guidance you need to ensure that clinical experiences fit requirements and complement your career goals.

Advancement in every area

Nursing is growing and changing, and it’s more important than ever before for you to get your BSN degree as you pursue opportunities in practice, education, leadership and research.

The Reinhardt Advantage

Personal Interaction

Though courses are taken online, students will work closely with faculty to tailor the program and clinical experience to their career goals.

Flexible Schedule

Online classes allow busy nurses to work and learn around their demanding schedules.

Customized Curriculum

Students may streamline the curriculum and accelerate graduation by transferring general education credits from approved institutions.

Nurse

Be a step above.

Discover how far your nursing career can take you. Reinhardt’s RN to BSN program will help you enhance patient care and expand your professional options beyond the bedside.

As a nurse, you’ve spent long days and nights ensuring the safety and comfort of others. Pursuing your BSN can help take your level of care — and your career — a step further. Delve into all the areas that impact patient care and develop the critical thinking, management and leadership skills to excel in any professional role.

FOCUSED

The curriculum explores areas that are not covered by Diploma and Associate Degrees of Nursing programs, including case management, research and administration. Students will build upon the knowledge gained through years of practice to develop a deeper, more holistic understanding of patient health.

FLEXIBLE

Online classes allow busy nurses to work and learn around their demanding schedules. Students may complete the required clinical practicum at any approved medical institution in the nation, working with faculty to ensure the clinical experience satisfies program needs.

VALUABLE

Studies show that 39% of hospitals and other healthcare settings now require new RNs to have a baccalaureate degree in nursing, and 77% express a strong preference for nurses educated at this level. BSN graduates can often command higher salaries and are more likely to be considered for roles in leadership, research and education.

“The need for nurses with a BSN is so critical that medical institutions partnered with us to establish this program. But ultimately this degree isn’t for the employers. It’s for the nurse who has decided they want do more, for themselves and for their patients.” - Dr. Glynis Blackard, PhD, RN
