“I would like Pickens County students to realize what a gem they have next door in Reinhardt. They don’t have to go far away from home to get a great education.”

ADay is an investment in your county residents. The first ADay campaign, created in 1988 for Cherokee County students, has provided more than $4.8 million in scholarships for residents of our neighboring county. Reinhardt University is bringing that same scholarship program to Pickens County.

A History of ADay for Reinhardt

The ADay for Reinhardt fundraising campaign was created in 1988 to increase the awareness of Reinhardt University in the local community and to provide additional financial assistance to Cherokee County students attending then Reinhardt College. Since its inception, local business leaders, donors and volunteers have enthusiastically supported the idea. Since the first ADay, local enrollment has grown from "a handful of students" to almost one-third of the student body, or approximately 350 students. We are excited to bring this opportunity to our neighbors in Pickens County.
