An Evening of Honors 2023
Reinhardt University’s annual awards celebration of outstanding students and faculty was held Tuesday. The Evening of Honors spotlights the academic and interpersonal achievements of juniors and seniors.
Dr. Mark Roberts and Dr. John Miles presented the Reinhardt University Academic Scholars Award to 64 students with a grade point average of 3.9 or higher. The 2023 Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholars Award was presented to 95 juniors and seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.6 to 3.89.
Director of Spiritual Life, Josh Garner, presented the “No Greater Love” award to Jared Brooks and Lilly Belcher who have shown selfless giving to others during their time at Reinhardt.
An impressive selection of honorees followed for both students and faculty. Highlights included the Faculty Mentor Award going to Russ Fletcher, and the Students of the Year awards presented to Lauren Dose (traditional) and Deborah Blount (non-traditional).
