Balsam Range

By Madelyn Montgomery

Reinhardt University will get a chance to go back to its roots and enjoy the bluegrass, mountain feel of Balsam Range – the 2018 International Bluegrass Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year – as they take the stage in Flint Hall at the Falany Performing Arts Center on Feb. 22.

“Balsam Range is swiftly becoming one of the most popular bluegrass ensembles in the business. They have an amazing stage presence and give a great concert, drawing the audience into the fun and sound,” said Jessica Akers, director of the Falany Performing Arts Center. “We’re excited to expand our bluegrass offerings and bring such great talent back home.”

Promising to bring a lively show to the Flint Hall stage, Balsam Range has recorded two albums and have found themselves on the charts on several occasions. “Blue Collar Dreams” stayed at No. 1 on the Bluegrass Today Chart for three consecutive months.

Balsam Range will be performing on Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Flint Hall at Falany Performing Arts Center. Tickets are limited, so get tickets now at Reinhardt.Tix.com.
