Mark your calendars for the 2019 Reinhardt Veteran’s Day Celebration!  

Reinhardt Student Activities and Kappa Sigma are proud to present this year’s program for Veteran’s Day entitled, “Lights on the Lake: A Veteran’s Day Celebration.” The event will feature a lantern lighting in which guests will be given a lantern to decorate in tribute to a veteran and launch it onto the waters of our beautiful lake, Lake Mullenix. All students, community veterans, and their families are welcome to attend. 

The purpose of this event is to provide a space where veterans and students can come together to reflect on how service members have shaped our nation and appreciate the bravery of our local veterans. Veteran’s Day is a staple holiday in our nation’s history meant to celebrate the unwavering brotherhood of our service members. Many of our students are touched by the stories and contributions of veterans within their families and friend groups. We encourage the Reinhardt community to take advantage of the meaning of this holiday and come together to celebrate our nation’s heroes.  

Please consider joining us for this special event. The event includes lantern lighting, music, light food, and a shadow box signing.  Grab a hot chocolate, set out a lantern, and enjoy a night of reflection and camaraderie on our beautiful campus. You won’t want to miss it!  

Guest parking will be available in the front lot outside of Gordy Residence Hall and in the parking lot between the Gordy Hospitality House and the Hasty Student Life Center. See the flyer for details.
