Dr. Robinson is one of the most exciting young organists in the field today. We are also thankful to Northside Cherokee for sponsoring this concert to benefit for our newest North Georgia children’s choir\, the Young Singers Of Flint Hall. I can’t wait to see you at this wonderful event!”\n\n– Dr. Martha Shaw\n\nDr. Caroline Robinson has been featured in recital across the United States and in Europe. Her playing has been broadcast on American Public Media’s “Pipedreams” and she has performed regularly at organist conventions. She is a laureate of the 2018 National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance and holds First Prize from the Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival (2008) and the West Chester University Organ Competition (2010).\n\nCaroline is Organist and Associate Choirmaster at the Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta\, and an active continuo player with early music ensembles. Dr. Robinson earned organ degrees from the Curtis Institute of Music and the Eastman School of Music. With the aid of a Fulbright scholarship\, Caroline studied additionally at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse

SUMMARY:North Georgia Chamber Symphony
DESCRIPTION:North Georgia Chamber Symphony – Apr. 28\, 2024 at 3 PM\nThe North Georgia Chamber Symphony is a 501(C)3 organization based in Dahlonega\, playing concerts for enthusiastic audiences around North Georgia. Membership is open by audition to string players in the area; however\, the majority of the orchestra is professional\, contracted yearly. The orchestra\, formed in 2007\, is funded by grants\, corporations\, and private donations\, and plays a variety of musical genres\, ranging from the Baroque to jazz and folk. Music Director Laurin Smith has performed across the U.S. including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center\, as well as in Europe and Asia.

SUMMARY:Ringing of the University Bells
DESCRIPTION:On the last day of classes in the spring\, there are official and unofficial traditions galore. Graduates of the Class of 2024 will be able to participate in the tradition of ringing the Tarpley Bell.  As each senior finishes their final class at Reinhardt University\, they’re invited to ring the Tarpley Bell. The cheerful echo of the bell will be heard all day long as seniors line up with their friends and classmates for this unforgettable moment. Each time the bell is heard across the campus\, a student proclaims their achievement. The last day of classes for Spring 2024 is Tuesday\, April 23.  The ringing of the bell will take place between 10am and 2pm.
