A new Artificial Intelligence Literacy minor and concentration will be launched at Reinhardt University in August 2025. This innovative program, developed in partnership with Rize Education, aims to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence (AI).

The new curriculum complements any degree program with AI skills. It provides students with a comprehensive understanding of AI technologies, their applications, and the ethical considerations surrounding their use. As AI continues transforming various industries, Reinhardt recognizes the importance of preparing students to navigate the changing demands of the workforce and to provide practical skills highly sought after by employers.

“By introducing the Artificial Intelligence Literacy minor and concentration, we are not only enhancing our academic offerings but also ensuring that our students are well-prepared for the future job market,” said Dr. John Miles, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. “This program will empower students to become informed leaders in a world increasingly influenced by AI.”

The collaboration with Rize Education provides Reinhardt with a cutting-edge curriculum developed with academic and industry leaders in AI that reflects the latest advancements in the field. An Amazon Web Services (AWS) study found that 86 percent of employers expect to use AI-related tools by 2028, and graduates with AI skills earn up to 30 percent higher salaries.

Enrollment is now open. Interested students are encouraged to email admissions@reinhardt.edu or visit https://www.reinhardt.edu/academics/degrees-and-programs/artificial-intelligence/ for more information. With this new offering, Reinhardt University is poised to become a leader in AI literacy education, fostering the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
