On Nov. 6, Trey Drawdy, interim dean of the School of Professional Studies and director of the Public Safety Institute at Reinhardt University, attended the Georgia State Patrol Trooper School Graduation in Forsyth, Georgia to award scholarships to the highest academic averages in Troops 108 and 109.

Troopers Charles Pitts, Taylor Stevenson and Stephen Spires were given $1,000 each in academic scholarship to pursue a criminal justice bachelor’s degree at Reinhardt University.

“The Georgia State Patrol has a well-earned reputation for professional excellence,” said Drawdy. “As such, Reinhardt is proud to award scholarships to distinguished graduates of the Trooper School. We wish these Troopers well as they enter into the service of our state and seek to promote the public good.”
