Dr. Glynis Blackard welcomes the incoming Cauble School of Nursing cohorts.

Join Reinhardt family Sunday afternoon in Flint Hall at Falany Performing Arts Center as 10 new student nurses receive their white coats in the third annual Cauble School of Nursing & Health Sciences White Coat Ceremony.

The event will take place Jan. 6 at 3 p.m.

Guest speaker, Michelle Breitfelder, chief nursing officer at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, will seek to inspire the students as they take their first steps towards becoming nurses.

Breitfelder has 41 years of nursing experience with a background in home health, critical care and infection prevention. She lives in Talking Rock and is an involved member of her community, holding the title of president on the Prevent Child Abuse Pickens County board, and is a member of the Advisory Board for Dalton State School of Nursing and the Nursing Advisory Board at Cauble School of Nursing & Health Sciences.

Come celebrate the next cohort of Reinhardt nursing students as they enter the beginning of their journey to becoming the next generation of healthcare professionals.
