State Competition

Thanks to the support from Reinhardt University Student Government Association and the McCamish School of Business, Reinhardt PBL members participated in the State Competition in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 11-12, 2014.  Reinhardt PBL members’ competed along with other colleges in the state; and their outstanding efforts and commitment allowed them to succeed in the competition!

Reinhardt PBL members placed well in many of the categories judged during the competition: Martina Shaw (1st place in Web Design and 2nd place in Emerging Business Issues); Sarah Barker (2nd place in Job Interview and 5th place in Public Speaking); Alex Bryant (1st place in Business Presentation and 2nd place in Sales Presentation); Jamieson Palmer (3rd place in Entrepreneurship Concepts); Terrance Duke (2nd place in Emerging Business Issues); Zachary Moore (3rd place in Human Resources Management and 5th place in Marketing Decision Making and Analysis); Amanda Torbett (5th place in Organizational Behavior and Leadership).

Students in the State Competition who ranked in the top three placings are eligible to go on to compete in the National Competition in June in Nashville, Tennessee.  Plans are being made to start raising money soon in preparation of next year’s competitions.
