Reinhardt University’s Theatre and Musical Theatre programs offer conservatory-style training in a liberal arts atmosphere.

The Theatre program offers two concentrations: performance and technical. Performance majors will learn techniques used in modern and classical theatre, as well as film. Technical majors will apply skills in lighting, carpentry and sound design.

Students may apply to student-direct a main stage show once a year. All students are expected to participate in each University production.

The Musical Theatre program provides rigorous training in voice, acting and dance to prepare graduates for success in the competitive professional work force. Students will establish their commitment to professionalism, collaboration and creative expression. The Theatre Department hosts a total of five shows throughout the year. Students gain in-depth experience in performance, set and lighting design, and choreography.
