Campus, Family & Alumni Activities for Homecoming Week
RU ready for Homecoming & Family Weekend 2022? Join us Oct. 29 for the Born to Run 5K, Family Weekend for current students, Experience Reinhardt for potential students, and tailgating beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by the football game at noon for everyone! This year, tailgating has food for purchase, giveaways, games, face painting, inflatables, live music, and more. Check out the complete schedule for all the Homecoming & Family Weekend details.
Homecoming Weekend | Friday Events | October 28
- 9:00 AM-Midnight Alumni Games on Facebook
Follow Reinhardt Alumni's Facebook page on October 28th for trivia questions every hour starting 9am. Each hour we'll have a new trivia question. First person to answer correctly will win a prize!
- 5:00PM-6:00PM Homecoming & Family Weekend Check-in/Information
Check-In will be held in the Hasty Student Life Center for Homecoming & Family Weekend.
- 6:00PM-8:00PM Family Reception
Mix and mingle with other RU Parents and Families at our Family Reception at the President's House! There will be plenty of good food and memories to be made.
- 7:30PM-9:30PM The Contenders ‘22
Folkicana duo The Contenders released their debut full-length, Laughing With The Reckless on November 3rd via Rock Ridge Music. The pair traveled the world in support of the album, the follow-up to their 2014 EP, Meet The Contenders, which explores the perseverance of hope in dark times along with the powerful way that music can connect us to others, the value of maintaining old friendships, and finding comfort in the arms of loved ones. Lace up and run in Reinhardt University’s ‘Born to Run 5k’

- 10:00AM-12:00PM Homecoming Tailgate (Gymnasium parking lot)
Join us and bring your Reinhardt school spirit for a 2-hour tailgate prior to kickoff. During the Tailgate, you will have the opportunity to create memories, enjoy delicious food, and experience Eagle traditions. On top of that, we will have a DJ and other family friendly activities.

Enjoy an all-you-can-eat game day buffet prepared by Reinhardt’s Food Services. Take this opportunity to socialize with other students and their families. For those not on a meal plan, please pay on site.
