The Honor System: A Community Philosophy
The Honor System is a tradition which is highly valued by the Reinhardt community. It allows the fullest possible expression of individual life in harmony with community life. It is a principle which members of the Reinhardt community believe to be fundamental in ethical life, both during and after college.
As a member of the Reinhardt University community, we assume that you possess an earnest purpose, the ability to exercise mature judgment, the ability to act in a responsible manner, a well-developed concept of and commitment to honor, morality and integrity, and a respect for law and the rights of others.
The University community has fully embraced the philosophy that an Honor System is not simply a set of rules and procedures governing academic conduct, but an opportunity to put personal responsibility and integrity into action.
