Preparing for Graduation and Diplomas

A student who has achieved 85 earned semester credit hours may request a graduation audit from the Office of the Registrar by submitting the Application for Graduation.

To be eligible to graduate, a prospective graduate must:

1.  Return the completed application for graduation by the specified deadline date.

Please bring your completed application to the Office of the Registrar located on the main floor of the Burgess Administration Building.  The completed application must include the signatures of both your academic advisor and school Dean, as well as your up-to-date advising grid provided by your advisor.  Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Deadline dates are:

  • Fall 2024 anticipated graduates: May 20, 2024
  • Spring 2025 anticipated graduates: September 3, 2024
  • Summer 2025 anticipated graduates: January 21, 2025

BCJ and BBA Deadline dates are:

  • Mid Summer 2024 anticipated graduates: April 4, 2024
  • Fall 2023 anticipated graduates: May 20, 2024
  • Mid Fall 2023 anticipated graduates: July 11, 2023
  • Spring 2024 anticipated graduates: August 28, 2023
  • Summer 2024 anticipated graduates: January 16, 2024

*If the application for graduation is turned in after the stated deadline above, a $25 late fee is added.

2.  Pay the graduation fee.

  • If the undergraduate application for graduation is turned in to the Office of the Registrar by the deadline above, the graduation fee is $100.  This fee must accompany the application for graduation when it is received by the Registrar's Office.
  • If the graduate application for graduation is turned in to the Office of the Registrar by the deadline above, the graduation fee is $125.  This fee must accompany the application for graduation when it is received by the Registrar's Office.
  • If the application for graduation is turned in after the stated deadline, a $25 late fee is added.

This early application time frame enables the Registrar to compare the prospective graduate’s transcript to the requirements of his or her degree program. Any problems noted during this transcript audit are brought to the student’s attention.

It is the student’s responsibility to correct irregularities and deficiencies by providing missing transcripts, obtaining course substitutions and making schedule changes needed to successfully complete the course of study.

3. Diplomas

*Diplomas for Spring 2024 degree completions will be mailed Mid-June 2024 Specific information will be sent to graduates when the diplomas are ready. If your address has changed or will change prior to June, please email the change to the Registrar's Office at registrar@reinhardt.edu
