The Landing: Book and Mercantile is open for business on the main floor of the Hasty Student Life Building. As the store fills with merchandise, the Reinhardt community is welcome to stop by now – and even make a few purchases!
The Grand Opening is scheduled for Saturday, August 13.
“I am happy to announce the opening of The Landing: Book and Mercantile!” says its manager, Carrie Owens. “I’m looking forward to seeing our students sporting Reinhardt colors. The Landing provides easy access to groceries, snacks, school supplies, toiletries, and school spirit items. Thanks to Dr. Roberts for having the vision and always making the students’ needs a priority. Go Eagles!”
Connected to The Landing is the new Starbucks Coffee Shop, which is operated by Metz Dining Services. The shop offers all the standard Starbucks coffee drinks as well as quick bites for students running between classes or on their way to practice. Starbucks opens August 15.
The renovation of this space was made possible through the generous donations from Metz Dining. Thank You, Metz! The spectacular design aesthetic and construction was performed by our National Facilities Management team – many thanks for the great collaboration.
