The Fall 2025 semester launched with a wealth of activities as Reinhardt students embraced both academic and campus life. Throughout the first two weeks, the Office of Student Affairs offered programs to ensure every student finds a place to belong.
A fun-filled weekend welcomed new students with a color run dousing participants with blue and gold powders along the course, karaoke night, and a spirited Olympic-style competition — perfect for building friendships and fostering Eagle spirit. Signature events like the traditional opening worship service and the ever-popular late-night breakfast helped bring students of all levels together.
Next, the campus came alive with engagement opportunities including a festive summer luau, outdoor RecFest games, an Involvement Fair, Greek Life recruitment, and the kickoff for Common Ground, the campus worship gatherings.
Programming for RU Leads commenced. RU Leads equips students with leadership and professional development skills via lectures, workshops, and other activities. On August 25, students welcomed their first distinguished speaker of the year, Peyton Ringer, a sales manager from the Coca-Cola Company. Upcoming guests include Coach Bill Popp, Athletic Commissioner of the AAC Conference, and Dr. Mary Elizabeth Davis, Superintendent of Cherokee County Schools.
The Office of Student and Campus Life has much more in store. Students look forward to a variety of events this semester including outdoor movie nights, a disc golf outing, game nights, a Campus Ministries retreat, volunteer opportunities, and the launch of the new Cybersecurity Club. Reinhardt Outdoors also has several adventure trips planned, featuring whitewater rafting, rock climbing and rappelling, and zip-lining.
Connection, growth, and unforgettable experiences await all Reinhardt students this academic year.
