Football Season Opens with a Win

The Reinhardt football team started their season with a victory at home, defeating Florida Memorial University 49-35. Strong player performances included quarterback Taylor Jackson (RU-2024 & 2026) being named Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Offensive Player of the Week and punter Alex Hanson (RU-2028) earning the title of AAC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Fans also enjoyed watching the Screaming Eagles Marching Band and Color Guard as they performed their first show of the academic year. The Eagles return home on September 20, 2025, to face Lindsey Wilson University at 2 p.m. at Ken White Field.
