Over 120 students from seven high schools brought their talent and energy to the Falany Performing Arts Center on September 18, 2025. They attended the Reinhardt Choral Festival, where they interacted with University students, participated in a faculty-led vocal masterclass, and performed in Flint Hall.
This annual event presented an incredible music-making experience. Along with showcasing their singing talents, participants learned about pursuing their passions while earning a degree at Reinhardt. The full day of choral-related activities concluded with a four-part finale with performances by two high school choirs, the Reinhardt University Chorale, and the festival choir, formed by all who attended.
Attending the festival during high school impacted Christian Beswick (RU-2029)’s collegiate decision. “The welcoming environment during the festival compelled me to come to Reinhardt,” he recalled. “I had gotten to know [Choral Director] Dr. Augsten and the vocal faculty and make connections. It was beneficial to already know them when I made my decision. We even kept in contact throughout the summer, so I arrived well prepared.”
