Nearly 50 professional, semi-professional, and amateur disc golf players enjoyed the hills, water features, and greenery spanning Reinhardt’s campus on November 1, 2025. The Fall College Classic Disc Golf Tournament attracted competitors from around the region.

The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA)-sanctioned event, hosted by Dalton, Georgia-based Prodigy Disc, featured two rounds of 19 holes each. Players competed in a range of divisions, determined by age and skill level.

Among the successful competitors was alumnus Clifton Clark (RU-2019), who won second place in a Mixed Amateur group, and his father, David Clark, who placed second in the Mixed Amateur 50+ division.

“Reinhardt offers a welcoming experience,” reflected Prodigy Disc Event Manager Matt Zollitsch. “Players truly enjoy the hospitality, the views of the campus, and the course itself, including the risk-reward of throwing over water. The course design is one of the top courses in North Georgia.”

Reinhardt’s tournament-level disc golf course, of intermediate difficulty, is free and open to the public from dawn to dusk. The University has discs available for checkout at the Hasty Student Life Center and offers a club for all skill levels.
