The cherished holiday desserts tradition at Reinhardt celebrates the upcoming holiday season and the end of the Fall semester. Amid holiday lights, festive music, a snowman snow machine, and a warm fire, over 330 students, faculty, and staff filled the Hal B. Wansley President’s Home on November 18, 2025.
This year’s creatively homemade desserts included green and white macarons, chocolate-covered candy canes, peppermint bark, holiday cookies, cupcakes, and a tree comprised of powdered donut holes. The record-setting number of attendees enjoyed lively camaraderie, hot chocolate, and the sweets, designed and prepared by the Metz Culinary Management team. Santa Claus even paid a visit and posed for photos during the memorable evening.
President Mark A. Roberts, Ph.D., mingled with his guests in the historic house, which was completed and dedicated in 1977 to Hal Brantley Wansley (1913-1975). Wansley was a WWII veteran who served on the Board of Trustees from 1971 to 1975.
