Reinhardt University prioritizes student and employee safety. Out of an abundance of caution due to this weekend’s winter storm prediction, the University will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. Cold temperatures, gusting winds, freezing rain, and ice accumulation could cause power outages and make traveling dangerous.
Additionally, all activities, including athletics, are cancelled on Saturday and Sunday, January 24 and 25, to ensure the safety of our campus community.
Dining services will continue for residential students who are unable to depart campus, and a staff presence will be on campus to care for them. Campus maintenance teams are prepared with road and sidewalk salt, as well as other operational safety precautions.
