Five in a row! All ten December 2025 graduates of the Dr. John A. Cauble School of Nursing and Health Sciences passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) on their first attempt. Their accomplishment extends Reinhardt University’s 100 percent first-time pass rate to five consecutive cohorts — representing a consistent pattern of excellence.
Also, this February, Nursing Explorer ranked Reinhardt’s nursing program as tied for third statewide, above universities considered the most elite in Georgia. Nursing Explorer offers guidance to aspiring nurses, including schooling options.
Passing the NCLEX was the final requirement for these Cohort 13 alumni to become licensed registered nurses. Overall, eight of the program’s 13 cohorts have achieved a 100 percent first-time pass rate, contributing to an impressive lifetime average of 95.2 percent. By comparison, the 2024 national four-year average pass rate was 85.5 percent — and 87.8 percent in Georgia.
“These achievements reflect the steadfast dedication and hard work of our faculty and our students,” said Kimberlin Zelinsky, DNP, Dean and Associate Professor of the Cauble School of Nursing and Health Sciences. “Reinhardt nurses consistently enter our profession prepared to make a positive impact on the lives of their patients and communities.”
The NCLEX is more than an exam; it determines whether nursing graduates are ready to enter professional practice, bridging classroom theory and critical thinking with sound clinical judgment. With five consecutive cohorts earning a 100 percent first-time pass rate, Reinhardt continues to demonstrate its commitment to fully preparing compassionate, highly competent healthcare professionals ready to lead and serve.
