Exploring North Georgia by horse offers a unique perspective. Twelve students joined Reinhardt Outdoors for a horseback riding adventure with Georgia Frontiers. From walking speeds to cantering, they bonded with their horses and enjoyed scenic views.
The trip offered a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration, with beautiful scenery, fresh mountain air, and connections with nature. It also offered a feeling of accomplishment. “I was a bit nervous/scared at first, but after a while I got used to it,” reflected Fatima Zamudio (RU-2029). “It was a fun experience and the horses were great. I definitely would do it again!”
This experience serves as a reminder that learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom — Reinhardt Outdoors adventure trips allow students to explore beyond the campus and experience the outdoors in new and exciting ways.
