Demonstrates exceptional compassion and empathy towards patients, families, and colleagues.

Displays a thirst for knowledge and a dedication to continuous learning and professional development.

Nomination Process:

Nominations can be submitted by faculty, peers, patients, or family members who have witnessed the nominee’s exceptional contributions to nursing care.
Nominations should include specific examples and anecdotes that illustrate how the nominee embodies the criteria outlined above.
The selection committee will review nominations and select recipients of the DAISY Award based on the strength of their contributions to compassionate, patient-centered care and their alignment with Reinhardt University’s mission, vision, and values.
