Online Associate Degrees 

Reinhardt University offers flexible options for online students to earn an associate degree in Business Administration or Criminal Justice from a university that has the highest accreditation standards and values. Courses are taught by distinguished professionals who have real world experience and are committed to your education and success while developing the whole student.  Our online associate degrees offer:

  • Flexible scheduling with courses that begin every 8 weeks, full or part time.
  • Books are included in the price of tuition (few course exceptions that require software).
  • Transfer up to 40 semester credit hours toward the associate degree.
  • Military and Georgia P.O.S.T training transcripts can be evaluated for credit toward the degree.
  • Transfer agreements with various technical colleges allow for review of transfer credit.
  • Associate degree coursework taken at Reinhardt is also embedded in the curriculum for the bachelor programs. This means you can get to graduation quicker and without losing course credit from one degree to the next.

Freshman Applicants

Step 1 – Complete the Online Application: Create a user account in the online application portal and select the correct student type. If you are attending college for the first time, select First Time Freshman.

Step 2 – Send All Official/Final Transcripts: Transcripts should show a high school GPA of 2.25 or higher OR a passing score of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED). Send documents using one of these methods:

  • By Email: Send documents through a professional, approved transcript service such as Parchment or National Clearinghouse to admissions@reinhardt.edu.
  • By Mail: Send a sealed, official document to: Reinhardt University Admissions, 7300 Reinhardt Circle, Waleska, GA 30183
  • In Person: Bring a sealed, official transcript to the Office of Admissions during business hours.

Step 3 -Additional college credit opportunities: If you have dual enrollment credit from any college(s), you are is responsible for sending the college transcripts to the university for credit evaluation. If applicable, send Advanced Placement scores, International Baccalaureate score, CLEP scores and military service transcripts to the admissions office transfer for credit evaluation.

Step 4 – Submit resume or professional documentation of two or more years of full time work experience (Associate of Business Administration only).

Students can follow the receipt of documents through the online application portal by logging in at any time.

Students who do not meet minimum admission requirements may submit additional documentation for Admissions Committee review.

Transfer Applicants

Online Bachelor Degrees

Reinhardt University has four options for online students to earn bachelor degrees: Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Healthcare Administration and Organizational Management & Leadership.  Discuss your options with one of our admissions professionals to help determine which degree would allow you the opportunity to meet your personal and professional goals while obtaining your degree in the most efficient way. Our bachelor degrees offer:

  • Books are included in the price of tuition, with the exception of a few courses that require software.
  • Transfer up to 90 semester credit hours toward the associate degree.
  • Students may have the option to earn an Associate of Business Administration on the pathway toward the bachelor degree without losing coursework if the student has less than 40 transferrable hours (conditions apply).
  • Military and Georgia P.O.S.T training transcripts can be evaluated for credit toward the degree.

Bachelor of Criminal Justice

Reinhardt University has a foundation in the industry with an on-campus police academy that is certified by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council. We are authorized to deliver the Basic Law Enforcement Training Course along with advanced, specialized, and in-service training.  We know public safety professionals are busy with both their professional and personal obligations and need flexible, online degrees to keep up with professional and industry standards. As a result, we offer the Bachelor of Criminal Justice. Students have the option to earn an Associate of Business Administration on the pathway toward the bachelor degree without losing coursework if the student has less than 40 transferrable hours. An evaluation of all transfer credit will provide the student with the knowledge of coursework left to complete the degree. Reinhardt University can transfer up to 90 semester credit hours toward this degree.

Bachelor of Business Administration is an online degree program offering concentrations in the areas of Human Resource Management and Project Management. Students may have the option to earn an Associate of Business Administration on the pathway toward the bachelor degree without losing coursework if the student has less than 40 transferrable hours (conditions apply). An evaluation of all transfer credit will provide the student with the knowledge of coursework left to complete the degree. Reinhardt University can transfer up to 90 semester credit hours toward this degree.

Bachelor of Healthcare Administration

Bachelor of Healthcare Administration is an online program designed for undergraduate students preparing for careers as managers in the public and private healthcare sector. Students have the option to earn an Associate of Business Administration on the pathway toward the bachelor degree without losing coursework if the student has less than 40 transferrable hours (conditions apply). An evaluation of all transfer credit will provide the student with the knowledge of coursework left to complete the degree. Reinhardt University can transfer up to 90 semester credit hours toward this degree.

Organizational Management Leadership – with a Public Safety Leadership Option

Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and Leadership offers a seamless, flexible option to earn an Associate of Business Administration or Associate of Science in Criminal Justice on the pathway toward the bachelor degree without losing coursework, if the student has less than 40 transferrable hours (conditions apply). An evaluation of all transfer credit will provide the student with the knowledge of coursework left to complete the degree. Reinhardt University can transfer up to 90 semester credit hours toward this degree.

Public Safety Leadership Option (PSL) is a series of courses designed to meet the national demand for trained professionals and provides the opportunity for Georgia P.O.S.T supervision and management certification training with potential evaluation toward degree requirements.

If you have previously attended college, you are a Transfer student. If students have less than 30 semester hours of transferrable credit, a high school transcript will be required and will be evaluated as a freshman during the admissions process.

Past Credit Evaluation

Get a free evaluation of all college credit, technical college credit, military and professional training, such as Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.).

College Credits

College credits will be evaluated for transfer credit upon submission of an official transcript.

Military

Military courses approved by the American Council on Education (ACE) will be considered for academic credit. Applicants must submit an official Joint Services Transcript to Reinhardt University for consideration during the application process.

P.O.S.T. Technical & Professional Training Credit

Students may be awarded lower division semester credit hours for certified technical and professional training. Up to 24 semester credits can be requested and awarded toward the bachelor’s degree in the area of free electives. Grades and quality points are not given for P.O.S.T. technical and professional training credit. Eligibility requirements are:

  • A student must be in good standing as a Georgia P.O.S.T. Certified Officer
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.0 and meet other criteria set forth in the Reinhardt University Academic Catalog.

Free elective credit may be awarded for completion of specific basic, advanced, and specialized training courses recognized by the Georgia P.O.S.T. Council. The following basic, advanced, and specialized training courses are currently eligible for consideration:

  • Basic Jail Officer Training Course
  • Basic Law Enforcement Training Course (240 hours – 408 hours)
  • First Responder
  • Supervision I-III
  • Management I-III
