There’s no better way for incoming students to get “Reinhardt Ready” than New Student Orientation (NSO), a two-part orientation process to help new students feel prepared and acclimated to their new environment on Reinhardt’s campus.

New Student Orientation is divided into two experiences: SOAR and Eagle Bound. The first orientation session is SOAR, held June 7 and 8, and July 12 and 13, at 1 p.m. The SOAR session for transfer students will be held July 10 from 6-9 p.m., and for dual enrollment students on July 19 from 1-5 p.m.

Students attending SOAR will get an in-depth look into the Reinhardt experience, as it is a chance for incoming Eagles to connect with faculty and staff members, along with other students, and learn about the many academic and student life resources available on campus. Its time set aside to be welcomed into the Reinhardt family.

“We are so excited to have our new Eagles on campus. I hope that beginning on day one of NSO that each incoming student will make connections with faculty, staff and fellow students, and also learn more about Reinhardt life, both in and out of the classroom,” said junior Haleigh Pate, orientation coordinator. “Overall, New Student Orientation sets our students up for success as we soar into the new school year.”

After attending a SOAR session, freshmen and transfer students will return in the fall for Eagle Bound, a jam-packed weekend full of informative and fun events to ease students into a stress-free transition into their new home. Eagle Bound will take place Friday, Aug. 16 through Sunday, Aug. 18.
