Annual Fund

Reinhardt Annual Fund

What is the Reinhardt Annual Fund?
The Reinhardt Annual Fund is the foundation of all charitable funded support for the University. Each year, thousands of alumni and friends contribute to The Reinhardt Fund, ensuring that the University continues to bring quality educational opportunities to almost 1,300 students enrolled at Reinhardt.

Annual giving is important to Reinhardt for many reasons. Specifically, annual gifts are unrestricted, which means your gift can go directly to the areas of greatest need at the University, helping address unexpected issues and capitalize on breaking opportunities. Moreover, annual giving is just that – annual. By making yearly contributions to the Reinhardt Annual Fund, alumni, parents and friends provide a necessary stream of academic and student support.

Yes, Your Gift Counts!
If you are wondering if your gift will make a difference at Reinhardt, the answer is simple: ABSOLUTELY! Every gift to the Reinhardt Annual Fund, no matter the amount, makes it possible for our current and future students to receive a transformative educational experience.

Where Does the Money Go?
The Reinhardt Annual Fund touches virtually all facets of the University. Without it, none of the educational opportunities that our students are afforded would be possible. Here are some examples of where the Reinhardt Annual Fund impacts our students and faculty:

  • Providing scholarships for students
  • Funding undergraduate research opportunities
  • Purchasing state-of-the-art laboratory equipment
  • Creating life-transforming service-learning opportunities
  • Expanding employment opportunities for students/alumni
  • Strengthening our innovative academic programs

Dave Henritze Scholarship Golf Classic

31st Annual Dave Henritze Scholarship Golf Classic

On Tuesday, April 30, 2019 Reinhardt University will host the 31st Annual Dave Henritze Scholarship Golf Classic at Capital City Club Crabapple in Milton, Ga.

The Dave Henritze Scholarship Golf Classic supports Reinhardt programs such as work/study, which provide all undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in work experiences on campus.  This allows students to gain experience in a work setting while earning a degree.  The Classic also supports scholarships for Reinhardt students.

David Durham Henritze (1923-2000), one of the founders of the Reinhardt University Scholarship Golf Classic in 1989, chaired the Classic for ten years. Just prior to his death, he was honored by having the tournament named for him.  Dave, a dedicated Reinhardt trustee, was a strong believer in and supporter of educational assistance for young people.  Although Dave passed from this life on May 4, 2000, his legacy will live forever through the Reinhardt students he helped.  The Reinhardt Scholarship Golf Committee is pleased to honor his dream of helping young people.

Reinhardt Family Campaign

Faculty & Staff Making a Difference

Each year, the faculty and staff contribute to the mission of Reinhardt University through their respective positions. Whether a faculty member who directly teaches students or a member of the grounds staff who ensures the campus grounds are safe, as well as beautiful, they all touch the lives of each student who pursues an education at Reinhardt University.

Reinhardt’s outstanding faculty and staff also go beyond the requirements of their jobs and contribute more than their time; they also contribute their money to support the ongoing needs of the University. During the 2016-2017 Campaign, Reinhardt's faculty and staff have contributed more than $31,000 to the University.

Beginning in 2008-2009, faculty and staff had a new and exciting way to watch their contributions make a difference on a daily basis through the Reinhardt Family Annual Scholarship.

With the addition of the Reinhardt Family Annual Scholarship, employees are able to contribute directly to a scholarship fund designed to promote the community and family environment at Reinhardt University.
