In celebration of the holiday season, Reinhardt University supports Waleska-area families through R.M. Moore Elementary School’s Giving Tree program. Students, staff, and faculty fulfilled and wrapped every gift request that hung from branches on the school’s 2025 Angel Tree. Their gesture ensures 52 students and their families will experience joy and hope during a season that many find challenging.
Reinhardt maintains a long-standing and meaningful relationship with R.M. Moore Elementary as part of the Cherokee County Chamber’s Partner in Education program. R.M. Moore Principal Kim Moody stated, “R.M. Moore would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Reinhardt University for their kindness and generosity. Your support makes a lasting difference in the lives of many, reminding us of the importance of community and connection during this special time of year.”
The University’s connection with R.M. Moore also extends through volunteer work by athletic teams and student groups, as well as Price School of Education graduates who teach at the school.
A cherished tradition at Reinhardt, the Giving Tree program reflects the university’s deep commitment to compassion and community. By coming together year after year, the effort helps ensure local families feel supported and celebrated at Christmas.
