This winter break, approximately 50 students remain on campus. Many are student-athletes, practicing and traveling to competitions, while some stay for other reasons. While many will depart during Christmas week, nearly 20 students will remain until the Spring semester begins on January 12, 2026. Reinhardt ensures that these students receive consistent support and access to essential services.
Residence Life professional staff and resident assistants provide around-the-clock care in the residence halls. Dining services operate during most of the break, and when meals are unavailable from December 20-26, a stocked Food Pantry and meal packages provide needed resources.
Public Safety officers make routine patrols, and they created a fun scavenger hunt to track down a fictional thieving elf and his stolen goods. Clues are posted here. A shopping shuttle offers two weekend trips to Canton for students to pick up supplies, gifts, or run errands.
Though the pace slows and the hallways are calm, Reinhardt continues to prioritize students’ well-being, safety, and a sense of community throughout the holiday season.
