The program began with a video (Watch it Here). Then, Student Government Association President Daniela Rangel (RU-2026) passionately shared her Reinhardt experience as a first-generation college student. “Because of Reinhardt, I’ve had opportunities I never imagined,” she explained. “What I see is a university that is not just preparing students for the future but actively building leaders right here in Cherokee County.”

Keynote speaker, Reinhardt President Mark A. Roberts, Ph.D., followed with the University’s message which included an update of the University’s strategic plan, “Widening the Fields of Endeavor.” He spoke of experiencing the value of setting a vision and setting a course of action to achieve it.

From ensuring a constructive culture to enriching the learning environment and living community, President Roberts highlighted student, faculty, staff, and alumni achievements, and the path to even greater growth. He also thanked the community for helping to ensure Reinhardt continues to serve the region through high-quality, personalized educational opportunities and programs relevant to today’s workforce needs.
