In keeping with Reinhardt’s vision of being a place where diverse talents grow together, the second annual Day for Diverse Talents and Scholars was held on November 10th.
Twenty-two students, accepted for Fall 2024 enrollment, were invited to interview for potential scholarships. Each student submitted an example of graded academic work, two letters of recommendation, and a personal statement. Faculty and staff interviewed and graded each student.
There are different levels of scholarships they interviewed for. The highest scholarship Reinhardt awards through this program is the Presidential Scholarship.
The incoming freshmen will find out about what they are awarded in about two weeks once the scholarship committee has reviewed the notes and scores.
Last year’s scholarship recipients are all part of the new Scholar’s Program with Dr. Amy Cottrill. The program brings together those students regularly to support each other and make the most of their opportunities at Reinhardt.
