A partnership between Reinhardt University and the Pickens County School District (PCS) benefits PCS employees and aspiring nursing students wishing to advance their education by providing tuition discounts at Reinhardt.
The agreement, signed by Reinhardt University President Mark Roberts and PCS Superintendent Travis Thomas, reaffirms a 2018 agreement and extends tuition discounts to employees of Pickens County Schools for most of the University’s online undergraduate and graduate programs.
Additionally, Reinhardt continues its commitment to provide five ‘last dollar’ scholarships annually to Pickens High School graduates accepted into its nursing program. The scholarships cover any remaining tuition costs for students’ final two years of the program. The new agreement extends its 2020 commitment for another five years.
“We are grateful for the partnership,” Dr. Thomas expressed. “We are thankful for Reinhardt’s generosity towards both our employees by providing tuition discounts and also with our students by providing nursing scholarships.”
