In honor of Veterans Day on November 11, 2025, Reinhardt University plans two celebrations. Recognition of veterans and active-duty service members takes place at the home football game on November 8. On November 10, two retired U.S. Air Force veterans share their experiences and insights on leadership through service in a speaking engagement.

Before the national anthem and the 1 p.m. football game kickoff, the University will ask all veterans and U.S. service members to stand and be recognized for their service. Anyone with a military identification card receives one complimentary ticket to the game.

At 11 a.m. on November 10, Col. Tom Prior (Ret. Air Force) and Col. Quentin Thomas (Ret. Air Force) speak at a special version of RU Leads, a professional leadership development program which prepares students for workplace success. Reinhardt invites everyone to the Jewell Bannister Glasshouse to hear these distinguished veterans speak about the importance of service, sacrifice, and leading with purpose. Anyone with a military identification card receives a complimentary meal at the W. Frank and Evelyn J. Gordy Center following the event.

Reinhardt proudly appreciates those who served in the United States military and their vital contributions to the University community. Thank you to all who have served the country.
