The homecoming festivities last weekend were full of fun and excitement.
Two Reinhardt staff members were honored at Ken White Field, just before the football game. The Captain A.M. Reinhardt Award was presented to Dr. Kerry Bryant, Assistant Professor of Music. This award recognizes an outstanding individual who has demonstrated their devotion to the mission of the university. Jason Marx, Graduate Assistant for Student Affairs, received the Jason Gamel Blue and Gold Spirit Award for his representation of pride and zeal for Reinhardt. The Student Senate votes on the award recipients after a campus-wide nomination process.
At half-time, the 2023 Homecoming Court took the field. Jacob Profit and Hannuh Southern were voted King and Queen. The Royal Court was comprised of seniors Liam Wright, Esteban Sued, Josephine Gangi, Jared Keith Brooks, Torrie Smith, and Isabella Scarcella. Juniors Markell Sutton and Kiara Simpson, sophomores Jeremiah Rowe and Brianna Simpson, and freshmen Desi Daniels Jr. and Bethanee Wiggins represented their classes on the court.
To top it all off, impressing a packed stadium, the Eagles won the game against Union, scoring 45-10.
