Reinhardt University alumnus Kurt Sutton ’65 will transform into Mark Twain Saturday and Sunday at University Theater.
“An Evening with Mark Twain” is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
Sutton’s study and passion for Mark Twain’s work dates back to his early college days. He has toured and performed Mark Twain and Samuel Clemens for 13 years but has been performing on stage as an entertainer and as a motivational speaker for 30 years.
Sutton was born in Mannheim, Germany, immigrating to the United States in 1950. He grew up in Canton and attended Reinhardt College. Sutton went on to the University of Georgia and graduated in 1968. He earned his Master of Education in Education Administration from Western Carolina in 1971.
The free shows are March 30 at 7:30 p.m. and March 31 at 3 p.m. Seats are first come, first serve.
