In August 2025, Reinhardt University’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) program began offering an opportunity to earn a graduate degree in just one year and with new flexible, career-focused options, entirely online. The customizable program features six in-demand concentrations: executive command and leadership, artificial intelligence, business analytics, cybersecurity, finance, and healthcare administration.

Designed for leadership roles in public and human services, the MPA equips students with strong managerial skills, analytical expertise, and a principled approach to solving complex challenges. Whether working in hospitals, government agencies, public safety, or nonprofits, these specializations prepare graduates to serve with integrity, insight, innovation, and impact.

“The MPA is designed with working professionals in mind,” said Dr. Joe Mullins, dean of the McCamish School of Business and Sport Studies. “We’ve built a curriculum that’s not only flexible but also future-focused—helping students gain expertise in fields like AI and cybersecurity, which are becoming essential in public administration.” The accelerated format allows students to balance work and study while positioning themselves for meaningful career advancement in a rapidly evolving public sector.

The new concentration options can lead to a wide variety of career outcomes such as computer and information research scientists, urban planners, community service managers, and financial managers.
