Visitors to Reinhardt’s Admission’s House are greeted with joy from Allison Luisi, administrative assistant for the Office of Admission. She coordinates meetings with admissions team members, handles email and phone correspondence, and ensures guests are accommodated and comfortable when they stop by. “I also make sure that campus tour attendees get the best experience and view of our university.”
Luisi came to Reinhardt in September 2021 after working in restaurant management. “I never knew it was possible to be excited for work every day!” She says she loves pulling onto campus every morning, “I keep waiting for that feeling to fade away, but it doesn’t seem like it will happen anytime soon.” In particular, she notes that participating in campus events is “one of the most enjoyable aspects of my position.”
Luisi enjoys learning about Reinhardt’s history. “I love to integrate pieces of that history into each campus tour, so that all prospective students get a little ‘behind-the-scenes’ feeling while they are on campus.”
When she’s not at work, Luisi enjoys creating art. “My fiancé built a she-shed at home that is my dedicated place for drawing and painting, which I try to do every day.” She is also pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Fine Arts, Digital Marketing, and Graphic Design.
