For Charles Workman (RU-2025), choosing Reinhardt University wasn’t just a decision—it was a calling. “Going to Reinhardt was one of the best decisions I ever made. Having been in the church my entire life, it is truly special to go to a school that aligns with my beliefs.” His educational journey was made possible through the United Methodist Scholarship Golf Outing, an event where enjoyment of the game meets the power of purpose.
This Spring, the 32nd annual event takes place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the picturesque Lake Arrowhead Yacht and Country Club in Waleska, Georgia. Golfers and philanthropic sponsors of all levels can become a part of something bigger than the game. Organized by United Methodist Church clergy from across North Georgia, this golf outing provides fun and fellowship while raising vital scholarship funds to help students achieve their educational goals and pursue their dreams. The fund provides scholarships for children of United Methodist ministers, students wishing to become a minister, and students active in the United Methodist Church.
Prizes will be awarded for the top flight scores, longest drive, closest to the pin, hole-in-one, and putting. The competition will be exciting, and the rewards—immeasurable. One day. One game. A lifetime of impact.
Be a part of this legacy of giving, golfing, and growing the next generation of leaders.
