Alana Williamson

Alana Williamson joins Reinhardt as the Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations.

Prior to coming to Reinhardt, she served numerous organizations such as the Special Olympics as a fundraising professional. She was also a coach, board member and unified partner for Special Olympics Alaska for over 10 years. In her role she’ll focus on securing charitable contributions and strengthening Reinhardt’s relationship with corporations and foundations who have committed resources to further the mission of the University.

Johnson Bowles, VP of Advancement, Marketing and Communications states that “Alana’s experience in fundraising is vast-her ability to connect the important work of the institution with those who can enable success will make a tremendous impact on the work of students, faculty, staff and alumni..”

Williamson grew up in Alaska where she lived until moving to Georgia just a few years ago with her husband. A fun fact is she grew up playing competitive ice hockey. “I started playing when I was eight because my next-door neighbor named Adam said ‘I can’t play with you because girls don’t play hockey.’ So, I went home and said ‘Mom! I want to play hockey!!’ We immediately hopped in the car with my dad to pick up equipment from the sports store. And within two years, I became the captain of Adam’s team.”
