The Reinhardt community will now have the opportunity to set time aside for their spiritual life during the week with a new chapel service offered on campus.
Beginning in the 2021 Spring semester, Campus Ministries will join efforts with Waleska United Methodist Church, located on Reinhardt University’s campus, to offer the Reinhardt Chapel Service every Thursday from 12-12:30 p.m. The service will be held in Hagan Chapel and led by Rev. Brian Smith, Reinhardt Chaplain and Pastor of Waleska UMC, along with Josh Garner, Reinhardt’s Coordinator of Spiritual Life and Service.
"Our goal is to offer a service that faculty, staff and students can take advantage of during their week and busy schedules,” said Garner. “We especially hope that our faculty and staff will be able to use this as a time to connect with God and each other.”
The first service will take place on Jan. 21. Masks and social distancing will be required at the service.
