Grammy-Winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
to open the 2009-2010 Season
The Grammy-Winning Atlanta Symphony, under the direction of Assistant Conductor Mei-Ann Chen, will present a concert at the Falany Performing Arts Center on Friday, August 7, at 8 p.m. The Orchestra will perform selections by Mendelssohn, Vaughan-Williams, and Britten.
In addition, the Center will present an exciting season including the four series listed below.
The Entertainment Series includes theatre, dance, comedy, nostalgia programs and tributes to memorable figures and artists.
The Concert Artist Series brings world-class international prize-winning musicians to enrich the cultural experience of the College’s music majors, as well as our community.
The Georgia Artist Series showcases of the state’s finest ensembles and artists.
The Eulene Holmes Murray Department of Music Series features performances by Reinhardt's talented music students and organizations.
You can buy tickets to the entire season, a series, or selected performances. For ticket purchases, children are defined as those 12 years of age and younger; seniors are defined as adults 55 years of age and older. See Events & Tickets for more details...
